Bybit Card Subscription Cashback: ChatGPT, Claude, Netflix and Spotify
The Bybit Card pays 100% cashback on selected subscriptions — and Bybit's own announcement names ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, Netflix and Spotify among them. Plenty of cards reward streaming. Almost none reward AI subscriptions, and none of them at full value. Reach Tier 2 and roughly 50 USDT of subscriptions a month comes back to you — which takes $500 of card spend you were going to do anyway.
The short answer
- ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, Netflix and Spotify are among the services Bybit names — AI tools are almost never rewarded by any card.
- The rebate is 100% of the subscription, credited back as Reward Points after the charge goes through.
- It switches on at Tier 2 (Beta), reached with $500 of card spend or VIP tier 1–2.
- Tier 2 rebates up to 50 USDT a month — enough for ChatGPT Plus and Claude Pro together, with room left over.
- Higher tiers scale the cap up to 600 USDT a month.
- Available outside the EEA, with Identity Verification Levels 1 and 2 completed.
How the 100% rebate works
It works as a rebate. You pay ChatGPT, Netflix or Spotify with the card at the normal price, the charge leaves your Bybit Funding Account like any other purchase, and the rewards programme credits the value back to you afterwards. Set it up once and it runs on its own every billing cycle.
Three things to have in place so it runs smoothly:
- Keep the balance funded. The money leaves first and comes back after, so the Funding Account needs to cover the charge on renewal day.
- Give the credit a few days. Points become available 4 days after the transaction, on the programme's schedule rather than the merchant's.
- Know your monthly cap. Each tier has one, and staying inside it means the full 100% comes back.
Which services Bybit names
Bybit's own announcement of the programme lists supported services including:
- ChatGPT Plus — OpenAI's paid tier
- Claude Pro — Anthropic's paid tier
- Netflix
- Spotify
Bybit's card page describes these more loosely as "must-have subscriptions" and marks the benefit with "Terms and Conditions apply". The supported list is Bybit's to change, so treat any list — including this one — as a snapshot and confirm in the app before signing up specifically for one service.
The tier that unlocks it: Tier 2 (Beta)
Tier 2 is where the subscription rebate switches on, and it is the easiest tier on the ladder to reach: $500 of card spend, or VIP tier 1–2. Bybit's rewards page confirms the benefit runs from Tier 2 Beta upward, subject to that tier's monthly points limit. Everything above Tier 2 keeps the benefit and raises the ceiling.
| Tier | VIP tier | or min spend | Cashback | Monthly cap | 100% subs? |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 · Base | — | — | 2% | 5 USDT | No |
| 2 · Beta | 1 & 2 | $500 | 2% | 50 USDT | Yes |
| 3 · Alpha | 3 | $3,500 | 4% | 150 USDT | Yes |
| 4 · Apex | 4 | $9,500 | 6% | 250 USDT | Yes |
| 5 · Omega | 5 | $12,500 | 8% | 400 USDT | Yes |
| 6 · Infinite | Supreme | $25,500 | 10% | 600 USDT | Yes |

What Tier 2 buys you
Tier 2 is the sweet spot, and the arithmetic is worth doing:
- Reaching it costs $500 of card spend — not $500 of fees, just ordinary spending routed through the card instead of your bank one.
- The cap is 50 USDT a month. ChatGPT Plus and Claude Pro together sit around $40, comfortably inside it — and Spotify still fits.
- It is a one-off unlock. Once you are at Tier 2 the rebate applies every cycle from then on.
- Higher tiers scale with you. If you already route more spending through a card, Tier 3 lifts the cap to 150 USDT and the cashback rate to 4%.
Put simply: $500 of spending you were doing anyway unlocks roughly 50 USDT of subscriptions rebated every month. For anyone already paying for ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro, that is the whole subscription bill coming back.
Why the AI subscriptions matter more than the streaming ones
Plenty of cards rebate Netflix or Spotify. Very few cover AI subscriptions. ChatGPT Plus and Claude Pro sit at a similar monthly price to a streaming bundle, and for people who use them for work they are a fixed cost that never previously attracted a reward.
If you already pay for one of the AI tools and you are eligible for the card, that is the strongest single argument for this product — a fixed monthly cost turning into a fixed monthly rebate. The full Bybit Card review covers the rest of what the card does.
Getting it to work: the practical steps
- Check your country. The card is offered outside the EEA, so confirm yours is covered before you start.
- Complete Identity Verification Levels 1 and 2. Both are needed to join the Rewards Program, and it is a one-time step.
- Reach Tier 2 (Beta) — $500 of card spend, or VIP tier 1–2. That is the unlock.
- Fund the Funding Account. The card spends from this balance; see how reloading actually works.
- Add the card to the subscription as the payment method — the virtual card number works for online billing.
- Keep a buffer. A balance that only just covers the charge is the most common cause of a failed renewal.
If a payment or rebate does not land
Most issues come down to one of four things, and all four are quick to fix:
- Insufficient Funding Account balance at the moment the subscription renews.
- Country mismatch between your card's registered region and the merchant's billing entity.
- Currency not supported for that particular merchant.
- Card frozen — the freeze control is easy to leave on after testing it.
One that is easy to misread as a decline: the rebate simply not arriving. Points become available 4 days after the transaction, and you must have auto-cashback switched on for them to convert to USDT automatically. Otherwise they sit in your account as Reward Points until you redeem them in the Rewards Market.
Good to know
This is a promotional benefit, so Bybit can adjust the supported services, caps and tier thresholds over time. Treat it as a strong bonus on spending you would do anyway — which is exactly how it pays off best — and check the current list in the app before you sign up for a service specifically to claim it.
Like every exchange card, it is custodial: Bybit holds the balance behind the card, the same arrangement that makes instant conversion at checkout possible. Worth knowing if you keep the bulk of your holdings in self-custody — fund the card with what you plan to spend.
Frequently asked questions
Can you really get ChatGPT Plus free with the Bybit Card?
Not free in the sense of never paying. Bybit advertises 100% cashback on selected subscriptions, which means you pay the subscription as normal and the amount is rebated back through the Bybit Rewards Program. Your card is still charged; the money comes back afterwards, subject to caps and terms.
Which subscriptions does the Bybit Card cover?
Bybit's own announcement names ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, Netflix and Spotify among the supported services, and its card page refers to 'must-have subscriptions' generally. The supported list is set by Bybit and can change, so check the current list in the app before relying on any single service being covered.
Is the Bybit Card subscription rebate available in Europe?
No. Bybit states the card is not intended for European Economic Area customers and that EEA participation is strictly prohibited. That rules out the subscription rebate along with every other card benefit for EEA residents.
Why was my ChatGPT or Netflix payment declined on my Bybit Card?
The usual causes are an insufficient balance in the Funding Account the card draws from, a merchant country mismatch, or the subscription being billed in a currency your card does not support. Because the card spends from an exchange balance rather than a bank account, an empty or newly transferred balance is the most common reason.
Does the subscription cashback have a limit?
Yes. The 100% subscription rebate requires Tier 2 (Beta) or above and is capped by that tier's monthly points limit. Tier 2 caps rewards at 25,000 points, equal to 50 USDT per month. Higher tiers raise the cap: Tier 3 Alpha 150 USDT, Tier 4 Apex 250 USDT, Tier 5 Omega 400 USDT, Tier 6 Infinite 600 USDT.
What tier do I need for the 100% subscription cashback?
Tier 2 (Beta) at minimum. You reach it either by holding Bybit VIP tier 1–2, or by spending 500 USD on the card. Tier 1 (Base) does not qualify for the subscription rebate and caps rewards at just 5 USDT a month.
